I am Tim Benzinger, a twenty–three year old creative something or other.

I get a kick out of fresh ideas, clean user-interfaces & skate culture. I design and direct for various mediums and industries, most commonly, the music industry.

I create for websites, apparel, skateboards, logos & identity systems, brochures, illustrations, user interfaces and anything else that might catch my interest.

Quick Notes

  • Design allows me to change what I already know.
  • I'd like to think one day I'll be able to answer all questions to Jeopardy.
  • I haven't taken a sick-day in years.
  • I have much to learn.
  • I am a red-green colorblind designer. Only 7-10% of people see color the same way I do.
  • I was run over by a car at 3 years old. I also had my own language at that time.
  • I can't be 100% sure if my name is Tim or Brian. I am a twin.
  • The clock is a timeless design.
  • I wear more masks than I own.
  • I keep a pen and sketchbook by my bed.
  • Designing for skateboards allows me to give movement to art that otherwise may not move.
  • I watch the commercials in between shows.
  • I use a key to open doors. The person who now owns my TV prefers screwdrivers.
  • If I see a typeface, I will subconsciously name the font.
  • Some clients become friends. Some friends become clients.
  • I don't trust business books, yet I read them far too often.
  • I feel design is the only profession allowing you to immerse yourself into any industry.
  • Music affects the outcome of my work.
